This fun autograph book holds more than 50 autographs collected
by Ernest Carl, a student of Solon schools around the turn of the century and adopted son of Esther McCollor. The autographs cover
a span of about twenty five years in Mr. Carl's life. Included are more than a few people being related to or named
McCollor. Many last names are familiar but maybe not the first name, I figure including those pages will maybe help someone
researching that surname. For this wonderful record we credit Patricia Wood, a stranger who wanted the autograph book
she found by chance in New Hampshire to be in the possession of the family most mentioned therein. Thanks!
|
|
Please take note that the old-type handwriting is very difficult to decipher in some cases. I have interpreted words
and names as best I can. If you are certain of a mis-spelling, please contact me so that I can correct it. Thanks!
